Project Manager
Responsibilities:
* Organize, plan, coordinate and direct the analysis, design and implementation of various inter and intra-departmental projects in support of IBX Operations personnel, process and plant.
* Manage relationships with IBX Operations personnel, internal customers and providers to assist them in identifying, evaluating and developing systems, methods and procedures which are cost effective, reduce effort and ensure availability.
* Create project supporting tools and documentation.
* Lead cross-functional teams in implementing proposed solutions.
* Facilitate communication throughout the team, to management and to customers on IBX Operations systems, methods and procedures related issues.
* Plan, schedule, track and manage projects or tasks to closure through appropriate status communication and escalations.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
* Experience in developing operations systems, methods and procedures
* An in-depth understanding of task level data center operations and related technician and engineer management and leadership
* Ability to assess workflow and limitations, and design/document recommended improvements of current systems, methods and procedures
* Demonstrated leadership and strong communications/team building skills and cross-functional management abilities
* Self-motivated, detail and task oriented, and able to successfully manage multiple priorities in parallel
* Excellent oral and written communication, business acumen, can set and meet expectations and can work issues to completion at whatever level of detail necessary while maintaining a customer, departmental, company and industry big picture.
* Expert at organizing and manipulating data in Excel spreadsheets.
* Expert at generating error-free Power Point presentations.
* Expert at tracking and reporting on projects at a task level up to a program level.
