JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description
The Operations Specialist, Sales Enablement will report directly to the Manager, Sales Operations but support the entire Cox Automotive Sales organization to serve as the liaison between the field and corporate offices. They will serve as a centralized point of contact to ensure continuous efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Key Activities of the Operations Specialist will include assisting the Sales organization in offering creative problem solutions, probing into the details to find underlying issues and effectively working with the internal customer on both cross-functional and cross-departmental teams. They will be responsible for updating, compiling, and maintaining processes, forms, and documents. In addition to helping to support Sales, the Operations Specialist will be required to demonstrate independent judgment in order to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Work to meet and resolve the operational needs of the Cox Automotive sales organization
Serves as a liaison for the field organization to support and grow the business
Provide support to the Manager, Sales Operations and maintain confidentiality
Obtain knowledge of all products, services and accounts
Anticipate, design, and take action to solve problems
Maintain superior computer, written and verbal presentation skills including correspondence, reports, graphs, charts and PowerPoint presentations
Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring and ongoing projects; serve as the project coordinator for special projects at the request of the Manager
Communicate consistently, effectively and within a timely manner with Management regarding the general state of business
Manage a large volume of (estimated 30-40) concurrent projects including:
o Reviewing project details and assessing business value and prioritization
o Defining the project s critical path and task list, assigning those tasks accordingly and following up on any outstanding action items
o Communicating requirements to several departments within the organization
o Recording the details of all interaction in a concise, accurate and thorough manner through intercompany tools provide (i.e. Box.com, Saleforce)
o Managing the project through to completion
Bachelor Degree is required
2 years experience in media relations, preferably within automotive, media, technology or communications industries required
Solid understanding of the automotive business and OEM relationships at the Tier 1 and 2 level
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track and on budget.
Proven ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Power Point and Excel is required; Adobe Photoshop is a plus; Salesforce.com is a plus
Exceptional organizational skills
High level of communication skills with experience in interacting with all levels of Management and employees
Ability to prioritize work independently
Professional appearance, telephone and communication style is essential
