A senior level engineer to support operation and analyses of Infrared imaging sensors and related systems.

Specifically, the applicant will possess experience in several areas related to Infrared imaging systems:

* Passive thermal Infrared sensor system operations, testing, and evaluation

* Experience with optical imaging components including blackbody and other calibration sources

* Image processing using Matlab, Python, or equivalent

* Optical analysis with Zemax

* Familiarity with radiometry and remote sensing concepts

The applicant will be expected to setup, align, and operate Infrared imaging sensors, collimators, calibration sources and common optical imaging components. The applicant will be expected to analyze camera imagery, and to implement custom analysis algorithms and procedures, preferably using Matlab. The applicant will be expected to have at least a basic familiarity with optical analysis software such as Zemax.


8-15+ yrs (BS) OR equivalent years of experience
