Oracle Applications Developer (PLSQL / Java)

Superior is looking for an Oracle Applications Developer on the Eastside for a contract, contract-to-direct, or direct position at our client.

The Applications Developer will provide development support for various ongoing upgrade and enhancement projects as well as day to day technical problem solving and troubleshooting. While the majority of work will be done in a PLSQL and Java environment, the Application Developer will also need to be open to and quick to pick up on other applications, databases and associated development tools as required.

Design, develop, document and strategically organize all technical development work in support of projects involving Oracle Applications
•Maintain, document, catalogue and provide ongoing support for all Report and Form customizations in Oracle, Java & PLSQL environment
•Provide technical support for bugs with Oracle, Java & PLSQL Apps; work with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and resolve issues
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in Oracle, Java and PLSQL related technologies and tools
•Provide ad hoc technical trouble shooting and problem solving support to Business Analysts
•Provide technical support to the Business Systems Analysis as required
•Assist DBA in daily monitoring of Application interfaces, functions and performance

Required Skills / Qualifications:


* BSCS
* Min of 5 years of experience with Oracle Applications Development, including PLSQL and Java
* Min of 2 years experience working with Oracle front and back end operations
* Min 1 year experience in development, installation, configuration, upgrading and porting custom Oracle forms, reports, and concurrent programs
* Min 1 year experience with cross-functional Oracle EBS (i.e. Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service)
