KEY POINTS: FIVE TO TEN YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF ORACLE APPLICATIONS WITH ADVANCE EXPERIENCE IN MULTIPLE KEY PROCESS AREAS SUCH AS ORDER-TO-CASH, GL PROCESS, PROCURE-TO-PLAN, PLAN-TO-DELIVER, ETC. The Senior Business Systems Analyst plans, designs, develops, and launches efficient business, financial, supply chain and operations systems in support of large complex organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects and budget, timelines and systems requirements. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments to a wide variety of functional departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
. Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
. Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
. Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
. Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
. Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
. Create system design proposals.
. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
. Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support.
. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
. Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.
. Drives knowledge enhancement through upgrades in Oracle applications. Manages and performs tests throughout the entire Oracle footprint including Order Management, Operations, Distribution and Warehousing, BPEL process management, and Advanced customer electronic communications, including all EDI functionality.
. Uses Advanced Oracle development tools and environments such as ADF, BPEL, OC4J, PL/SQL, BI Developer, SOA to create new user driven workflows, procedures, and communication models that enhance user job functionality.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
. Five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including a thorough understanding of Oracle Applications with advance experience in multiple key process areas such as order-to-cash, GL process, procure-to-plan, plan-to-deliver, etc.
. Additional technical knowledge the following areas are desired: Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning
Demantra, Red-Hat Linux, ADF, BI Developer, BPEL, EDI, CRM on Demand, ERP data integration, OBIEE, SOA Suite, Oracle Encryption, Web Services
. Proven experience in developing and implementing large complex systems is required.
