JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY
The library student digitization assistant is responsible for the digitization of analogue oral histories at the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History in the Special Collections Research Center. Duties include digitization of analogue cassette recordings; naming, transferring, and organization of digital files; and documentation of processing and metadata collection.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES
Student must have keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask with precision; ability to follow departmental procedures and policies and to work without close supervision while maintaining workflow and prioritization schedules.
DOES THIS POSITION HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Proficiency working in a Mac OS environment. Audio software experience a plus.
