Job Description
ADECCO is currently seeking a Full Time ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST to work for a leading worldwide company in Wilsonville, OR. The ideal candidate will have an order management/order entry background with excellent Customer Service skills.
Job Description:
Primary customer contact providing telephone and e-mail support and coverage; Processes verbal, fax, e-mail or EDI transactions in the Oracle Order Management system. Responsible for interfacing with customers, sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of customer demands including the ability to calm an upset customer. Understands customer requirements in order to recommend customer options and solutions within guidelines. Minimizes interruptions and prioritizes customer demands effectively. Responsible for entry of returns, credits, sales orders, and quotations. Provides transaction, shipping and delivery status, etc. Assists and coordinates with other departments to achieve issue resolution.
Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
Background in customer service and order processing as well as Oracle order entry experience. Excellent phone skills, diplomatic customer relations skills, solid written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer/keyboarding skills and Order Management system knowledge. Performs with a high degree of accuracy; learns quickly and adapts to change. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions to achieve business and customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task in a high stress environment with timeliness, consistency, and accuracy. Must work with a sense of urgency under minimal supervision. Attention to detail, strong organizational and follow through skills, ability to trouble shoot, ability to delegate and identify resources, the ability to answer general questions regarding products and provide direction regarding the company web sites. Adhere to policies & procedures. Needs to be a Team Player. Attitude/Behavior needs to be positive, supportive and cooperative at all times. Be punctual, consistent, reliable, and have excellent interaction skills and strong rapport with co-workers and team. Provides feedback and input when requested.
