SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Orders Management is responsible generating client quotes, creating invoices, and mailing final reports.



PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Orders Manager is responsible for ensuring the studies are fully entered and available within Oracle and LIMS as well as ensuring consistency within the assay s created for use. The Orders Manager is responsible for generating quotes for clients and revisions as required.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Enters orders into Oracle and Projects systems in a timely and accurate manner.
Reviews invoice adjustments as needed.
Maintains order information until the time of project completion.
Maintains quotes by adjusting pricing and other info as required throughout the project.
Creates custom quotes for client proposals as needed.
Prepares draft and final reports for the client by creating a PDF copy, generating FedEx envelopes or boxes, and tracking packages, as needed, through FedEx to ensure delivery.



EXPANDED JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for proficiency within the Oracle system.
Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
Ensures that site visits are properly scheduled prior to the client visit. Responsible for adjusting booked conference rooms as needed to accommodate clients.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma is required; some college preferred
Knowledge of office operations is required
Knowledge of Toxicology testing is strongly preferred



Experience:
6+ months of experience with Request for Proposals (RFP), editing, or writing
Technical Writing Experience is strongly preferred
ERP (Oracle/SAP) experience is preferred



Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent typing, reading, writing skills
PC skills, including (but not limited to) Excel, Word and Adobe
Exceptional information management skills
Exercises good judgment, tact, and diplomacy with both internal and external clients
