Organizational Effectiveness Analyst
Position Purpose: The Organizational Effectiveness Analyst conceptualizes, develops, implements and evaluates major market and customer research, using the Baldrige performance excellence criteria as a foundation. The analyst also uses internally generated data to evaluate organizational effectiveness, including strategic operational processes and high-level product and program performance trends. Through analysis and synthesis of multiple data sources, the analyst communicates observations, conclusions and recommendations that drive strategic thinking and decision making for the Association.
The Organizational Effectiveness Analyst plays a critical role in developing business plans that advance the organization's strategic goals. This position works collaboratively with all areas of the Association.
Accountabilities and Results achieved by this position include the following. Other accountabilities may be assigned:
1. In collaboration with colleagues, conceptualizes, develops, implements and evaluates comprehensive market and customer research initiatives within the strategic context of the organization.
Spearheads development of processes for conducting customer and market research and disseminating key findings.
Develops and maintains systems to scan for and identify relevant environmental trends, best practices and benchmarks and to communicate results and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
Serves as consultant to team members on design, implementation and analysis of customer and constituent surveys.
2. Mines client databases, web performance reports and dashboards to acquire new insights on customer characteristics and behavior and product performance trends. .
Scans and analyzes high-level product line trends to support product and program development decision making.
Profiles customers and prospects using demographic and behavioral data to identify new business opportunities and support business plan development to new program and product launches.
Scans and analyzes trends in search engine performance of client's programs, products and strategic keywords to evaluate existing content dissemination approaches and identify new opportunities.
3. Collaborates on inter- and intra-department projects with defined outcomes and within agreed upon parameters.
Develops, implements and evaluates project plans to achieve accurate, cost effective, timely and quality results.
Contributes to formal business plans and presentations by providing clear and compelling language, charts and graphs.
Contributes to sound planning, analysis and decision making that supports organizational priorities, through participation on cross-functional teams.
4. Ensures fiscal accountability for assigned initiatives.
Develops and maintains project budgets to assure appropriate use of Association resources.
Contributes to the development of business plans and their related budgets.
