* Responsible to provide support to all of the Medical Staff Departments for their quality and performance. Completes all chart abstracts necessary for physician quality and peer review. Assists all Medical Staff Department Chairs in developing and reporting the outcomes of their departments Performance Improvement Indicators. Knows the operations of the Midas system to extract data for the medical staff departments as needed, and serve as the back up Midas system manager.
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate will be a Registered Nurse with at least 3 years in acute care nursing. Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Quality Accreditation Certification recommended. Two years in supervisory/managerial position or equivalent preferred. Previous experience with Medical Staff Quality preferred.
