The Commercial Sales Representative generates new clients while servicing existing clients with product information, quotes, and selection of products best tailored to the customer's needs. He or she will input orders, prepare quotes, and establish accurate delivery dates while resolving customer issues and problems in a timely manner.



Lead generation, account development and sales to commercial contractors.

Create a material list and quote from blueprints or other documents supplied by the customer and present in a professional manner.

Understand market trends, competitive prices, products, and other market-related information.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.

Monitor special orders from vendor to jobsite.

Maintain an open line of communication between location team members, vendors, and customers to ensure world class service.

Process various records and perform data entry as required.



Friendly, outgoing, and self-motivated with the ability to lead and inspire others.

Minimum experiencerequired: 3years in commercial sales to general contractors or subcontractors.

Knowledge of the building materials industry and products.

Working knowledge of local building codes and compliance requirements is a plus.

Strong communication and computer skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed by customer or contractor.
