JOB DESCRIPTIONBioControl Systems, Inc.--a Bellevue, WA-based leader in innovative food safety solutions including rapid microbiology test kits and hygiene monitoring systems--is seeking a full-time ACCOUNT MANAGER/OUTSIDE SALES for our Southwest territory which includes the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri, and Arkansas. Candidate may live anywhere within the territory with convenient access to a major airport; frequent travelrequired. Will service existing customers within the geographical region, cross-sell to current customers and aggressively prospect to develop new customer relationships to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degreerequired in a related field (sciences preferred--Microbiology, Molecular Biology, etc.) OR a combination of education and directly related experience. Minimum of 3years' experience in B to B sales and account management within the food industry; minimum of 3years' experience within a competitive sales environment involving direct selling, account management, and aggressive prospecting for new customers. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook and the use of Spin Selling or similar question- or solution-based selling system.
