JOB DESCRIPTIONSeeking an Outside Sales Representative serving primarily the Los Angeles, Ventura and surrounding Counties. Aviation and Aerospace (Must have fastener experience and know the local competitors) The primary role will be to develop strategic relationships that grow products and services and protect our existing customer base. You will also work closely with our inside sales team to generate leads to develop new opportunities for growth.
?Develop strong relationships with existing accounts to improve and increase our business opportunity
?Be a part of our Vendor Managed Inventory team to ensure our services are meeting customer expectations while improving the efficiency of the service we provide
?Work with customers to improve their part requirements forecast to help the company buy correct safety stock to support business levels while limiting overbuying and inventory accumulation
?Understand customer needs and help develop services proposals to grow products and services
?Generate daily sales call reports that help inside sales and management understand daily activity, core customer issues and opportunities
?Map out market opportunities and work with management to develop a sales call plan to achieve goals
?Research new opportunities, cold-call, then size up and communicate opportunity to inside sales team
?Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries
?Work cohesively with customer service, inside sales, purchasing and warehouse operations
?Engage in continuous improvement through all your business processes
?Be flexible to support other business areas within
Desired Skills & Experience
?Minimum 3 to 5 years of sales experience in fastener industry, primarily in aerospace and aviation arena
?Personable, professional appearance, and solid people skills
?Be a motivated, organized, self starter with proven track record of working remotely
?Understand and utilize modern technological tools that help you communicate and work on the fly
?Clean driving record
?Excellent written and typing skills
?High School Degree or GED, college education a plus
