As Manager on Duty (MOD), Oversees the hotel operations for third (overnight) shift to ensure guest standards are met and that hotel assets are secured and protected. As Night Auditor, accurately balance all hotel income and expenses for 24- hour hotel operation period. Key Duties- MOD: Manage night operations of the hotel to ensure a high level of guest services that reflects well on the hotel, brand and company. Handle, document and report all concerns, complaints and issues to perspective management to follow-up; document and record all incidents involving guests ore colleagues, or other relevant events, on the appropriate reports (MOD Report, etc. Report any injuries to Loss Prevention. Oversee the front desk and audit functions in accordance with established procedures; provide guest with prompt, professional attention and greeting upon arrival; ensure audit functions and reports are completed on time. Ensure procedures are followed for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, and guest security. Key Duties - Night Auditor: Balance and audit for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage and telephone revenue; prepare all reports relevant to daily revenues. Balance and audit for accuracy all room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest house accounts. Complete and transit daily management and accounting reports and supporting documents; prepare customer tracking report, market segmentation report, food and beverage revenue report, and other auditing reports necessary to ensure the accurate accounting of the hotel revenues and expenses. Transmit credit card batches. Act as hotel system liaison during third shift. Call and open tickets with Opera and/or other supporting systems during the overnight hours if a system failure or issue occur.
