Investigates, analyzes, plans, evaluates, drafts and/or recommends solutions for project/program efforts; provides expert-level issue resolution and recommendations support to achieve desired program outcomes; applies broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management, foreign military sales, and modernization planning; applies knowledge of and expertise with program management, modernization planning, and integrated master scheduling. Other examples of responsibilities: assist technical evaluations of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other contract modifications; provide production planning expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support HBS Division and Branch staffs in program management including but not limited to reporting, integration of activities between branches, risk analysis and mitigation, and budget impact analyses * Administer a variety of IT tools including but not limited to SharePoint and SMART * Provide communications and navigation (Comm-Nav) subject matter expertise in support of acquisition milestone and RFP planning for the AWACS CNU program * Assist the DRAGON program manager in adhering to cost, schedule, performance, and risk baselines * Provide acquisition documentation quality control in preparation for executive-level review and coordination * Provide input to Integrated Master Schedules ensuring proper insight into resources and risks * Provide support to contracting and finance functionals in administering ECPs, evaluating proposals, contract monitoring, assisting in cost estimating, building contract files, and related activities * Assist program managers in resolving issues by providing courses of action with recommendations
* Bachelor s Degree * Ten (10) years related Acquisition PM SME experience * Acquisition experience that involves planning, budgetary, and execution responsibilities within DOD environment * Mature and effective written and oral communications skills * Exhibit excellent interpersonal relationships * Ability to take broad high-level guidance to produce effective straw-man or better products. * Self-motivated, self-starter with keen focus on customer support, satisfaction, and mission success * Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a mix of military, Government civilian and contractor personnel * Secret Clearance
* DAWIA certification or equivalent training and experience
