PATIENT NUTR SERV ATT II
The Patient Nutrition Services Attendant II (PNSA II) assembles/prepares specialized and standard food trays for patients in accordance with department policies and diet orders; answers calls from nursing service and manually records service requirement data; and performs data entry and supports a variety of routine clerical duties related to departmental functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
*Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
*Serves on trayline in designated assignment and accurately/efficiently assembles/sets up patient food trays.
*Initiates/receives/relays patient food service data in association with Nutrition & Dining Services (NDS) data system and/or nursing service; enters menu and nourishment items for in-house website/publishing systems.
*Prepares specialized foods and nourishments in accordance with clinical nutrition procedures.
*Accurately and neatly portions food products for patient trayline activity; assesses quality of ingredients or products prior to use.
*Provides finished product to the designated area and at the designated time.
*Assures appropriate production pre-preparation for next trayline/next day activities.
*Safely operates equipment used within the work area.
High school diploma or equivalency required. Food Handler's permit required. Minimum of six (6) months experience in food service preparation or production required.
