JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Position Overview
The University of Kansas, Department of Curriculum & Teaching invites qualified professionals for a part-time, temporary Lecturer Pool. This position will teach a variety of courses offered by the department at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Applicants will be accepted throughout the year. The successful applicant must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins.
100% - Teach one or more sections of courses in areas such as Curriculum Development, Instructional Strategies, English Education, Foreign Language Education, Literacy/Reading Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, Social Studies Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Gifted Education.
* Earned master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction or other field appropriate to subject area being taught is Required to teach undergraduate courses.
* Earned doctoral degree in Curriculum & Instruction or other field appropriate to subject area being taught is required to teach graduate level courses.
* Prior college or relevant K-12 teaching experience.
* Earned doctoral degree in Education or other field appropriate to subject area being taught.
Additional Candidate Instruction
A complete application will include a curriculum vitae/resume, cover letter and evidence of professional experience and/or teaching experience.

Advertised Salary Range
$3500 - $4000 per 3 credit hour course
