PR Manager, Mobile

The PR Manager, eBay Mobile,will be responsible for providing communications support for both the eBay Mobile (70%) and RedLaser (30%) businesses, with more than half of the focus on consumer-directed initiatives and campaigns.The PR Manager 2 will be integral to driving media relations and program execution on behalf of the eBay Mobile and RedLaser teams, focusing on positioning the eBay Mobile and RedLaser businesses as innovation engines and consumer engagement channels, while supporting the company's product strategies, consumer marketing, corporate reputation and media amplification goals.

Assist in developing communications strategies and executing plan tactics to support launches, announcements, executive speaking schedules and initiatives directly related to eBay Mobile and RedLaser .
Consumer-targeted program support and execution/activation for eBay Mobile and RedLaser .
Handle day-to-day media relations and program responsibilities in support of external proactive communications , including development of press releases , media briefing documents, FAQs and communications plans ; and vet and draft responses for external reactive communications and general inquiries.
Executive communications support , including speaking calendar, script development and presentation coordination.
Align with business partners to review/edit/approve materials from third-partner organizations and companies approved to promote the eBay Mobile and RedLaser businesses.
General corporate response and team integration as needed.
Management of multiple program budgets and simultaneous priorities.
Building and managing strong working relationships with internal client partners including marketing, mobile business and product development, legal, analytics and others.
Working with eBay's agencies of record and other resources to support the program and communications needs of eBay Mobile and RedLaser.
