MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) years of management leadership experience in a health care setting. Knowledge of all phases of Janitorial/Environmental Services work required in the contract. Ability to interact professionally with the customers senior leadership team. Experience managing vendor and/or subcontractor relationships. IEHA or CHESP certification (or ability to attain within 1 year of hire). Have knowledge of HCAPHS and/or other patient satisfaction tools. Ability to pass required regulatory screenings.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is responsible for the general oversight and directing the work to facilitate the day to day operations at Gulf Breeze Hospital campus. Specifically, the position is responsible for: Executes activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with client expectations, service requirements, and GCE goals and objectives. Responsible for supervising and training employees so as to promote maximum productivity, high quality service provision, excellent customer service and favorable employee retention. Authority to hire and/or fire staff (or whose suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees are given particular weight). Serves as a resource and ensures communication for client administration, staff, and company personnel by communicating new industry, cleaning, laundry and operational trends. Communication methods include participation on client committees and conducting department meetings and training sessions. Establishes a safe work environment for employees and customer by performing safety audits and inspections, conducting safety-related training, and maintaining on-going communications with employees and customer. Implements and ensures execution of GCE Quality Management standards and procedures, compiles data and reports to appropriate client departments, GCE management and governmental agencies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to walk, stand, bend and carry light items.
