* The purpose of this role is to lead the Packaging Quality team and initiatives across the Diageo sites through the development, implementation, and embedding of World Class package quality designs, materials and control systems.This role will interact with all Plant departments, managers and site leadership to develop development ISO and GRMS required documentation and manage key Package Quality processes at the site.

* + Support and implement initiatives to improve control and reduce variation of packaged products on all bottling lines, solving materials and Package Quality problems and driving Quality improvements through the implementation, training and ongoing support of quality systems such as Process Monitoring, SPC, DoE (design of experiments).+ Act as the expert in Package materials, design and Quality. Lead Quality improvement with suppliers and Diageo plant teams.+ Lead RCPS teams to resolve package Quality problems and provide support to make improvements to design and/or operations to reduce downtime and package Quality defects.+ Ensure compliance of bottling operations to the GRMS and site standards under ISO 9001/22000. Make sure the site adheres to relevant package legislation and Company policies and standards for quality.+ Builds site capabilities; support the development of the culture and capability (including systems and technology) of the sites to ensure the required levels of skills and competence in meeting Diageo package Quality standards, ISO / FS22K requirements, and identified best Packaging practice.+ Coordinate Packaging Specifications for the site, inter-acting with Packaging Solutions Group to establish and optimize specifications for efficient manufacture of defect-free products.+ Lead personnel to achieve Diageo goals while supporting their personal and professional development.+ Effective two-way communication of plant needs, concerns, and progress across all levels of the organization.

* 1. Ability to understand and communicate complex packaging issues and work closely with NA Supply and other functions to share knowledge and ensure adherence to Diageo Quality standards.2. Partner with NA Supply and Technical to identify gaps against Packaging Quality improvement initiatives; creates and tracks robust action plans to close gaps and improve Quality3. Creates an open, continuous improvement culture across the NA Supply4. Creates a supportive and challenging team climate, understands how to get the best from others5. Has sound understanding of own impact and modifies actions accordingly, works hard to understand what is important to others.6. Clear written and verbal communication skills, ability to gain buy-in and lead continual improvement in Quality across multiple sites and functions

* Qualifications and Experience Required:

*
* + Role requires BS in Engineering (e.g. Packaging) or equivalent with 5+ years of demonstrated experience in packaging materials, product designs, plant operations and Quality systems.+ Training and applications of statistical methods (e.g. SPC) for continuous improvement+ Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and support multiple programs, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholder engagement+ Solid knowledge of site and Technical Center processes and people with good business acumen+ Demonstrated capabilities in Project Management & Execution, Strategic Execution, Negotiation, Influencing, Quality Systems and Packaging operations.+ Robust data analysis and problem solving skills.+ Highly effective written and verbal presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate requirements and gain understanding, support and stakeholder buy-in.+ Comfortable with computers, having Excellent skills with programs like InfinityQS, MS Excel, Access, SAP and others
