Job Description

Seasoned Paralegal Needed!** TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE IN THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH **Our downtown client is looking for a seasoned Paralegal. In this role, you will provide legal support to attorneys by drafting a variety of pleadings, replying to discovery requests, organizing files, and scheduling cases and witnesses. In addition, you will maintain calendars and records, process insurance claims, provide individual criminal and civil investigative work, and real estate related matters, including preparations for, and closing of transactions. A Bachelor's Degree is required and a minimum 3 years of law office or legal department paralegal experience is preferred. Knowledge of process for filing pleadings, including electronic filing, in state, and federal court, including bankruptcy court. Demonstrated familiarity with PA Rules of Civil Procedure. Ability to work independently. Ability to prepare pleadings with minimal supervision. Qualified candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, strong organizational skills. Requirements
