Immediate need for a part-time (25 hours a week) Office Assistant seeking room for advancement, thorough training program and 100% paid medical benefits.
o Provide clerical assistance as required which includes expense reports, booking travel, calendaring and other tasks as assigned
o Inventory and order materials, supplies and services for the office
o Attend meetings and record and transcribe minutes
o Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment, such as computer hardware and software
o Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages
o Communicate with customers, vendors, employees and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information
o Assist in the development and production of client materials such as proposals
o Prepare and ship on-site material for upcoming programs
o Handle general correspondence or client documentation as directed
o Assist in on-going efforts to improve office operational efficiency within the company
o Order lunch for large group on a weekly basis
Skills or Requirements:
o BA/BS degree preferred or 2+ years office experience
o Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departments
o Team Player with the ability to take direction
o Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
o Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Some Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience are helpful
o Excellent follow-up
o No industry experience required
