GENERAL OVERVIEW


Under general direction of the Partners eCare (PeC) manager responsible for Partners eCare data service integration, and working in collaboration with other PeC application coordinators, integration teams, and Epic resources, the PeC Web Service Integration Application Coordinator will conduct analysis, testing, customer support, and other duties required to support Epic-based web data service integration at Partners. The PeC Service Integration Coordinator will be responsible for documenting, testing, and supporting Partners eCare data services, and other integration methods supported by the PeC web services team.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities


Testing of PeC Web Service Integration projects:
o Build, execute, and maintain Web Services Integration test suites in the SOAP UI application
o Provide support to users including troubleshooting and issue resolution
o Maintain all testing artifacts
o Assist in creation of test data via Epic Hyperspace
o Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specification and design documents to ensure testability
o Contribute to assessment, recommendation, and implementation of testing automation strategies and methodologies
o On-call responsibilities 24/7 (supported by team rotation)
Business Analysis of PeC Web Service Integration projects and initiatives. Duties may include:
o Identify data service development requirements
o Draft functional specifications
o Conduct data analysis
Support related SOA initiatives and services as needed
Provide quality production support to all customers
Work with project teams across many functional areas

Other duties as assigned
Bachelor Degree required
Business analysis experience required
Five or more years of experience in computer systems, data integration and/or healthcare is required.
Testing experience with SOAP UI, including creating and executing automated test scripts in the tool is preferred, or experience using a scripting language
Working knowledge of SQL, XML or web services (SOAP) is preferred.
Strong PC skills including knowledge of PC applications, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Epic software is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS


Located at Lafayette Corporate Center (LCC) in Boston. Office setting, with some travel between Partners Healthcare System sites. May require travel to Verona, Wisconsin for Epic training.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

No staff, provides guidance to less seasoned and new staff.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by effectively using Partners resources.
