JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for setting up, operating and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing machine. Works from routings, factory production orders, other paperwork and verbal instructions. Operates powered and manual pallet transporters. Lifts pans of parts to load and unload the machine. Operates digital scale to determine piece counts. Records and other paperwork as required. Prepares move tickets, maintains paperwork files as needed. Adds chemicals and water to parts washer tanks as necessary to produce clean parts. Checks solutions by Titration method. Removes accumulation of chips from tank bottoms. Drains and refills tanks as necessary to provide efficient operation. Accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basis. Participate in department and process team activities and projects. Is expected to abide by all plant safety policies and procedures. All employees must follow all Safety Rules and Safety Policies. Employees will also follow additional assignments and instructions made by Leaders, Value Stream Team Leaders, Value Stream Managers, and Managers
Able to operate digital scale.Able to do heavy lifting.Ability to operate lift trucks other powered material handling equipment.Previous similar experience desirable. Must be high school graduate or equivalent. Must be Unites States Citizen or Permanent ResidentMinority/Female/Disability/Veteran/VEVRAA Federal Contractor
