Patient Care Companion
Per diem, varied shift
Patient Companion experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills required

Summary:

The patient companion will provide 1:1 supervision, or frequent safety checks on those patients identified as a high risk for falls, delirium, wandering or self-injury, as ordered by the Physician and or directed by the Manager/Director and Charge Nurse or House Supervisor.

Patient Safety Attendants are responsible for caring for patients on isolation precautions if appropriate education has occurred. They are required to follow appropriate safety precautions.

Experience:

Health Care exposure preferred. Experience with physically disabled patients preferred.
