Job Description
Company: John C. Lincoln Health Network
Facility: John C. Lincoln Hospital - Deer Valley at Phoenix
Department: Sitters
The Patient Companion is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for patients at risk of harming themselves or others.
Maintains visual observation of patient at all times including use of the restroom and during meals.
Observes patient carefully for inappropriate behavior and reports to the RN immediately.
Notifies the RN immediately of any situation that may arise, that may lead to a safety issue.
Qualifications:
High School courses
Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in written form
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card required.
Pool/On-call Day and night shifts High school diploma or equivalent is required
