span B PATIENT INSURANCE AND BILLING SPECIALIST /B br B Waukegan, IL /B br   br B Description /B : Are you experienced working in accounts receivable in a medical setting?  Have you developed a great skillset in processing patient insurance claim approvals, appeals, and denials?  Are you interested in being a great go-to financial and insurance expert for patients in need of assistance?  Our client, a major medical provider in northern Lake County, IL, would love to meet you!   br   br B Tasks /B : br ul
li Work with patients on their billing questions, providing follow-up on matters concerning insurance coverage and co-pays /li li Contact and follow-up with major insurance companies to investigate and resolve insurance claim appeals and denials; work extensively on resolving denials /li li Communicate with patients, billing departments, and insurance claims processing department to collaborate across disciplines to research disputes and suggest solutions /li li Oversee collections of payments past due and status of patient co-pays /li /ul
  br B Requirements: /B br ul
li Excellent communication, written and verbal /li li 2 years of accounts receivable experience /li li 2 years of office experience in a medical, hospital, or physician’s office setting /li li High school diploma or GED /li li Demonstration of patient-centered customer care in your background /li li History of working closely with insurance companies to resolve appeals and denials /li /ul
