Performs registration process for all patients. Registers inpatient, outpatient and emergency room patients. Ensure accurate charges and orders have been placed in accordance with departmental policy. Screens patients for ability to meet financial obligations. Maintain current and accurate bed board to facilitate admissions process. Small work station area with above average levels of noise. Some stooping and bending required. Must be able to work with interruptions. Must be able to lift 25 lb. independently. Data entry and calculator skills required. Excellent communication skills a must. Uses personal terminals, copy machine and computer printers. High school graduate or equivalent required. 0-2 years previous related registration experience with knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Flex Varied Shifts
