Patient Resource Advocate

JOB SUMMARY:
The Patient Resource Advocate contacts patients referred by Eligibility Resource Advocates by phone, correspondence or home visit if due dates are missed to continue to secure necessary documentation for patient financial services. The Patient Resource Advocate also assists with securing necessary verifications as needed, monitors progress of applications, attends interviews and documents and updates status on a regular basis in STAR and IndeApp systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Extensive knowledge of eligibility policy rules and processing requirements for programs administered by the FSSA
-Associate degree or minimum of 2 years equivalent work/business experience in a healthcare or public assistance setting Full-time Days
