Job Description

Facility: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center at Boise
Department: Special Care Attendants
Stays in assigned patients room and is cognizant of patients safety needs. Notifies professional staff of the patients needs and alerts them in case of an emergency. Documents on observation flow sheet and assist licensed nursing staff with cares as delegated and identified on the patient safety attendant information sheet.
High School Diploma preferred. Current Heartsaver / AED (CPR) certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Previous work in a hospital or a college student in medical discipline helpful.
