Excellent opportunity for an experienced Patient Service Manager to join the Sodexo Health Care Food Service Team at Northwest Texas Health in Amarillo, Texas - a growing community within the Texas Panhandle. This Acute Care facility has annual patient days over 88,000. A large behavioral health hospital is connected. Sodexos At Your Request Room Service to be implemented with a focus on quality of food and service. This position will be responsible for managing and utilizing Sodexos Key Patient Satisfaction initiatives and processes on a daily basis. Utilization of Sodexo Gold Check Patient Meal Services standards to be engaged through staff to patients and customers. Performance improvement models with actions to drive excellence will be expected. Demonstrated experience with financial operating budget expense management and revenue enhancements are expected. Talent to develop and enhance service relationships with Patient Unit Team and Nursing Leaders on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be a strong team leader, results-focused with compassion for patient services and communication. The ability to train, develop, coach, and manage with accountability of food service staff is critical to the overall success of Food Service Department. Knowledge of regulatory agency standards and compliance is expected. Position Summary Provides direction, guidance, and supervision/direction of patient hospitality employees at patient care units. Serves as senior and primary representative of patient care activities. Position takes an active role in finance/cost controls of patient meal services.
