KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Registration of patients; verification of benefits; discharge of patients, including collection of payments due; performs CPT and ICD coding, data entry and balancing of accounts by provider.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to communicate effectively with others, to manage multiple priorities and tasks, to maintain attention to detail; knowledge of and ability to use computer hardware and software applications; maintains BLS certification; knowledge of and ability to use basic medical terminology.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent.

LICENSURE: None

EXPERIENCE: One year medical office experience.
