Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our growing team. The Payroll Administrator is responsible for accurately processing all aspects of a bi-weekly, multi-employer, multi-location and multi-state payroll, including review of time input, compute wage and overtime, calculate deductions, produce paychecks, record-keeping and reporting. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Review, verify time sheets and process bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll information in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures as well as appropriate federal and state regulations. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Prepare and remit federal, state, and local tax reports in a timely fashion, including quarter and year-end reconciliations. Prepare and submit Worker's Compensation report to insurance carriers. Provide customer service to all levels of employees by responding to routine payroll inquiries. Prepare and maintain standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data integrity. Works closely with Human Resources and Corporate Accounting Support all internal and external audits related to payroll Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or accounting a plus, or equivalent work experience Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) a plus. Minimum of 5 to 10 years of payroll processing experience for a multi-state employer with multiple locations. Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook Knowledge of state and federal wage and tax laws and overtime requirements. Worker's compensations payroll reporting experience. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills (bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred), strong math skills and computer proficiency. Experience with Dayforce HCM a plus. Proven time management and follow-through and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines. Possess a high level of dependability, maturity, confidentiality, courtesy and professional yet personable demeanor Problem solving and analysis skills Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with employees and management. Supervisory experience a plus
