Under general supervision, the Payroll Coordinator,
Bi-weekly Payroll, performs a variety of process
oriented and accounting related work with an emphasis on
technical tasks involved in the preparation of payroll
runs and the output of financial reports and statements.
Essential Job Duties:
Processes payroll information bi-weekly: imports or
enters data provided from various departments into
Lawson HRIS system, review payroll reports and paperwork
for accuracy, making changes as necessary, processes
checks/vouchers & distributing payroll
Handles accounting, tracking, and documenting of
bi-weekly Payroll run: prepares payroll journal entries,
files and organizes payroll-related paperwork, and
maintains multiple payroll related spreadsheets.
Balances tax files and transmits to ADP.
Coordinates resolution of employee related payroll
inquires and issues that may arise.
Provides inter-company related information and reporting
as necessary.
High School graduate with a minimum of 3 years
experience required; Associates degree with 5 + years
experience preferred.
Microsoft Office proficient. Lawson experience
preferred. Must be able to multi task, problem solve,
keep information organized, and be able to work well
independently and with others. Customer-service
orientation required.
