We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Payroll Manager for the Tarrytown House Estate and Conference Center which boasts 212 rooms and over 23,000 square feet of meeting space! Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Payroll Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient adminiatration and management of the payroll function including: Ensure confidentiality of all payroll information. Maintain and distribute all time edits for each department. Verify and process all employment information in regards to payroll prior to payroll processing date. Maintain and insure all employee information in the payroll system is valid and up to date. Keep track of PTO and Leaves of Absences for each employee. Aid in the setup and scheduling of payroll information; procedures and classes. Provide managers, supervisors, and employees with additional payroll information as needed. Responsible for voluntary deduction reports and submitting check requests. Prepare monthly reconciliations of voluntary deduction liability accounts, including but not limited to garnishments, childcare, health care and 401K. Fill out various audits and/or surveys from outside sources regarding payroll information as needed. Maintain log of all manual voided payroll checks. Responsible for filing and maintaining current employee payroll files. Responsible for maintaining relocation expenses for year end payroll adjustments. Analyze and resolve issues that come up with regard to all aspects of accounting and finance.
