span B Payroll Manager Job in Irvine, CA /B br   br Parker Lynch is happy to partner with a prominent technology company in Irvine, CA to find their new Payroll Manager. You will work in a gorgeous office in a relaxed, “work hard, play hard” environment. Our client is experiencing tremendous growth and is looking for the very best. In order to qualify, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of professional experience in a similar role. This is a direct hire job opportunity paying between $80,000 and $85,000 annually, depending on your qualifications. br   br • Manage multiple location time-keeping for all company employees br • Implement / roll-out Kronos time-keeping system br • Train / mentor location management on record keeping, time management, and corrections reporting br • Use ADP to record and process all employee time and payroll data. br • Multi-company / Multi-state payroll processing br • Track and audit employee time and attendance (Kronos) br • Managing all employee deductions, both mandatory and voluntary br • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the Company’s financial reporting and general ledger structure. br • Identify, prepare and record necessary accruals, general ledger journal entries and job cost entries for financial accounting. br • Extensive ability to prepare schedules and reconcile various general ledger accounts br • Assist with annual budget process and prepare monthly budget variance analysis. br • Excellent Excel skills…if statements, vlookups, pivot tables. br • Ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned. br   br B The Successful Applicant /B br • B.A. in Business Administration, with emphasis in accounting. br • 3 to 5 years of Payroll and Financial Accounting experience required br • Proven track record of progressive responsibility. br • Experience with maintaining policies, procedures, and internal controls. br • Must be self-motivated and work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. br • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify issues and solutions, and ensure timely project completion with minimal supervision.
