span B Title /B : Manager of Payroll Operations br B Location /B : Loop br B Compensation /B : $105k + 10% bonus br B Open due to /B : Retirement br   br This is an exciting new Payroll Manager role with an established company in the Loop. As the Manager of Payroll Operations, you will manage and produce the payroll for around 2,000 employees for both Union and Non-Union employees in a multi-state, high-volume environment. Some of the additional responsibilities include: br • Supervising two payroll professionals br • Partnering with Human Resources to process payroll system inputs including new hires, changes in salary, overtime, terminations, benefits, tax withholdings, annual elections, etc. for all salaried, hourly and Canadian employees br • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies in order to remain current with all applicable regulations and ensure compliance. br • Serving as point of contact for employee questions and requests from outside parties. br • Processing for all corporate and division payroll functions including the preparation, processing, and disbursement of all regular and off-cycle payrolls, incentive compensation, deferred compensation, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments as well as deductions br • Periodic and year-end reporting for regulatory bodies br • Providing payroll data to others for pension and thrift plans; payroll taxes; compliance testing, etc. br • Maintaining the ADP payroll system ensuring it meets the company’s needs. br   br To be considered for this role you must have: br • Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Econ or similar br • Active CPP certification br • 7-10 years of full-time payroll experience br • 5-7 years of payroll managing experience for a multi-state payroll department, including staff management   br • High-volume union, salary, and hourly experience br   br You would be an excellent candidate for this role if you also have: br • Rail or Transportation industry experience br • Experience with ADP Enterprise Version 5 br • Experience with Canadian payrolls br   br In addition to the robust and varied responsibilities of the role, which are themselves very exciting, the company also offers excellent benefits, including: br • 15 days PTO plus 12 paid holidays and 6 personal/sick days.   br • 401k match 3.5 % up to 6% br • 100% employer paid medical + dental (with $0 deductible for employee and family) br • Growth potential br • Wellness programs br • Pension plan br • Lunch/break room with lots of amenities br • 2 full gyms for employee usage br • A family-friendly, employee-focused culture br   br   br   br If you think you’d be an excellent candidate and are interested in advancing your career please reach out directly to me at jenna.homes@parkerlynch.com or give me a call at 312-583-6744 br   br   br   br Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled www.parkerlynch.com br   br /span
