JOB DESCRIPTIONInterpersonal skills to provide effective leadership for professional and support staff. Successful experience in providing leadership in a clinical setting and/or academic setting. Demonstrated ability and willingness to collaborate with other disciplines (e.g. pediatrics, psychiatry, neuropsychology, psychology, nursing). Strong ability to problem solve flexibly and creatively. Demonstrated inclusive participatory management style to effect change. Experience working with community programs and resources and advocacy groups. Ability and willingness to promote program through public speaking and events. Desired: Knowledge and awareness of healthcare issues and impact on the practice of social work and the delivery of care (e.g. electronic medical records, reimbursement, affordable care act).
Provides child and family psychotherapy to those experiencing psychosocial distress related to diagnosis, cooping, anxiety, adjustment and trauma (including parenting/bonding, parent coaching). Provides consistent professional leadership for Pediatric Clinical Social work. Oversees ongoing program development and evaluation. Develops comprehensive, multidisciplinary services and clinics for infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents with various psychosocial, mental health, and behavior conditions, and their families. Provides direct clinical services including psychosocial assessment, consultation and treatment in both the outpatient and inpatient setting. EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Minimum 5 years social work experience. Masters in Social Work and an active, valid LCSW Illinois license.
