JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Required: Strong computer skills in C/C++ embedded programming MATLAB Desired: Navigation sensors and systems Kalman filtering Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) Digital signal processing Imaging LIDAR Sonar/radar sensors Robotics and autonomous vehicles including UAVs ground and undersea vehicles Hands-on experience building and integrating real-time embedded processing systems Ability to obtain a Department of Defense secret clearance EDUCATIONM.S. degree or higher in computer science with graduate level research or career experience in state of the art image processing and other sensor fusion algorithms
The candidate will be expected to work on a variety of perceptual sensor sensor fusion and embedded intelligence problems including but not limited to: Vision-based navigation and 3D mapping Image analytics Object detection Recognition Geolocation and tracking Multi sensor fusion and embedded autonomy The engineer in this position will also be expected to provide technical support for internal and external research and development proposals while staying abreast of the state of the art in perception/sensor fusion and embedded intelligence technologies.
