Job Description: The Performance Supervisor(s) are responsible for organizing and scheduling the work flow and assignment of trained associates to each work cell in the most efficient manner. Responsible for ensuring SIMOS and customer specifications are met and accurate records of daily productivity and hours are maintained. The position supervises staff and operation of a distribution and order fulfillment environment. Plans and assigns work, trains employees, and has authority for discipline and performance decisions. Responsible for maintaining performance quality standards and productivity goals. Oversees daily activities of employees working in various areas. Responsible for assigning work and implementing procedures/policies. Suggests methods for improving operating conditions. This position requires mid to upper level supervisory experience. Supervisor will lead and control activities of 25-50 associates in multiple job functions. Takes precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss. Retains and reviews warehouse documents and reports. Requires communication with Human Resources on matters of employee discipline, safety, vacations, attendance and policy related matters. May also be responsible for coordinating training to ensure that all associates are properly trained and that all training is documented. Primary Responsibilities Will Include but are not Limited To: Maintaining levels of service for inbound and/or outbound operations Ensuring accurate systemic and physical receipt of inbound and/or outbound inventory including documentation of exceptions, record keeping, putaway and data entry Direct the work of 1-2 leads and 25-50 associates Associate training and retention Maintaining productivity and quality standards Establishing an unequalled level of service to internal and external customers Job Requirements: 3 years of progressive logistics and distribution experience Proven leadership abilities Previous experience managing a multiple shift operation in a large distribution center Pick/Pack distribution experience High technical proficiency with computers and warehouse management systems Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) required Excellent written and oral communication skills Inventory experience a plus Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience supervising people Entrepreneurial spirit, someone looking to take ownership and work for results Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferred Keywords: Retail, Distribution, Fulfillment, Inventory Management, Shipping / Receiving, Supply Chain, Third-party Logistics
