Facility: John C. Lincoln Hospital - North Mountain at Phoenix
Department: Perioperative Services

The Perioperative Resource Coordinator position supports the Perioperative Services Department in the management and coordination of supplies. S/he will serve as a resource and liaison between inpatient Services (IPS), Outpatient Services (OPS), and Surgical Perioperative Department (SPD). S/he ensures that supplies are delivered to patient care areas as needed.


1. Provides coordination of all the steps of Surgery supply chain.
Coordinates the maintenance of usable stock levels for all supplies for Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery.
Supplies for department will be ordered in concurrence with hospital/vendor day as evidenced by minimal complaints from internal and external vendors.
Maintains current computerized inventory.
Continuously monitors budget levels in supply code categories and provides budget-planning information.
Identifies changes in case needs and products using cost-effective methods.
Performs daily inventory of supplies according to par levels and places orders for replacement through appropriate channels.
Maintains logs of all supplies ordered and received.
Communicates any unresolved supply issues/needs with charge RN, Business Manager and/or Specialty Coordinator.
Verifies receipts with actual product received, identifies discrepancies and notifies appropriate departments.
SPAN style=FONT: Full-time Day shift Post high school education required
