Description: Presales Technical Consultant/Engineer with a strong background and knowledge of computer systems and solutions. Strong working knowledge in the deployment, support and management of Thin Client solutions is preferred. Successful candidate will act as a consultant to Hewlett Packard's largest commercial customers. Candidate will work directly with the HP sales team to assist in qualifying customer technical needs, developing and presenting customer solutions, assisting with proposals and promoting HP's technology to key customers. As part of the sales force, a successful candidate will;* Work closely with sales teams in the pursuit of new business * Engage directly with customers to understand and solve technical and business challenges leveraging HP's broad array of computing solutions. * Be seen as an industry expert in HP's IT solutions portfolio. * Drive preference for HP's products and solutions over competitive offerings through a strong technical understanding of industry offerings. * Have an understanding of IT departmental structures.Required Attributes include;* IT infrastructure knowledge and experience. * Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to a broad audience. * Strong interpersonal and phone skills. * Demonstrated personal drive to achieve defined goals. * IT Experience and Training. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems. * Sales skills or an aptitude for sales. Qualifications; * Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. * Five years Industry Experience.
