Job Advertised by Pharmadiversity Job Board - The Personalized Healthcare & Biomarkers Innovative Medicines Project Lead is accountable for the delivery of project-specific Personalized Healthcare & Biomarkers strategies to Innovative Medicines project teams and Translational Science Directors. These project-specific Personalized Healthcare & Biomarkers plans will be aligned to the high-level Biomarker Strategy Plan for which the Translational Lead is accountable. The role holder will work closely with the Segmentation Discovery Lead to implement this high-level strategic plan at the project level, and with Innovative Medicines Translational Science groups and drug project teams in a collaborative operating model. The role holder will achieve this by drawing on previous expertise and scientific knowledge in the Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers field to meet the needs of project teams and ensure that optimal solutions are available to leverage maximal biomarker value within Innovative Medicines. The successful deployment of this role will result in Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers strategies and activities being delivered to project teams in a timely fashion and to required regulatory standards, increasing the probability of success of AstraZeneca drug products. These activities include providing project-specific strategic options and coordinating the delivery of a broad range of biomarker assays, segmentation tools and associated data, aligned to the Biomarker Strategy Plan and as required by Translational Science Directors. Biomarker assay delivery will be synchronized with the timing of clinical trials, and meet regulatory standards to demonstrate analytic utility, aligned to potential application as companion diagnostics or validated biomarkers. Each Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers Innovative Medicines Project Lead will support several drug projects. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Strategic direction Lead dialogue with project teams to recognise value for biomarker stratification via use of the Personalized Healthcare Assessment tool Working closely with project teams, the Segmentation Discovery Lead and Translational Science Directors, develop project-specific strategic options for Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers aligned to the high-level Biomarker Strategy Plan, based on the evolving scientific and healthcare environment Deliver the implementation of these project-specific plans by coordinating external collaborations and internal activities in the Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers function Ensure the provision of timely and high-quality PHC advice and options to Innovative Medicines project teams, informed by a continually updated and improved knowledge base of Personalized Healthcare and Biomarkers science Contribute to the implementation of the Personalized Healthcare externalization plan on behalf of the Innovative Medicines project teams, including evaluation of in-licensing and diagnostic partnering opportunities..... br/ br/ * For application attention if web source is requested please use PharmaDiversity or PharmaDiversity Job Board. br/ br/ APPLY FOR THIS JOB by going to ...http://www.pharmadiversityjobboard.com/view_job.php?post_id=581967&tag=aje
