This position is responsible for the management and direction of a single site operation. The candidate must be present in North Huntingdon, PA. Relocation assistance available.
The role will plan, coordinate and direct order entry, order production for dispensing, verification of prescriptions within corporate and regulatory guidelines. Works with Product, Account Management, Service Delivery, Corporate Finance as well as other cross functional teams to ensure quality, budget, service targets, and client-specific SLA requirements are met. This role will also include site and enterprise responsibilities such as managing portfolio of projects, driving change management using continuous improvement principles and rollout of solutions and standards across sister pharmacy sites. The position is responsible for annual strategic planning for site operation and will set and manage budget to meet corporate goals. Periodically report site progress towards established strategic goals and imperatives to Sr. Leadership.
Manage and direct site operations, maintaining and improving patient and client service through quality, accuracy, volume thru-put and on-time processing of prescriptions
Ensure department thru-put and quality levels, identify opportunities to optimize end to end flow of Rxs. Develop and implement changes that will improve thru-put and overall departmental performance
Oversee strategic and business planning for site operations by participating in planning activities company-wide, identifying project initiatives and operational issues, coordinating research and developing recommendations based on that research. Works with Sr. Director to develop and track department budget to meet corporate and site goals
Participate in internal/department and external meetings regarding the launch of new products, maintenance of existing programs and actively participate in cross-functional initiatives that support pharmacy operations.
Oversee recruitment and performance reviews. Handle escalated employee issues. Actively engage in strategies to increase employee engagement, retention and satisfaction
Develop and build leadership talent and capability
Provide stretch learning and development opportunities to leaders in the Directors organization
Establish and communicate annual strategic work plan goals for the operation
Bachelor s degree with 10-14 years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills.
Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
