Inpatient Pharmacy InternshipTemporary: Summer 2012Under the supervision and direction of a licensed pharmacist, performs various clinical duties, fills prescriptions, prepares unit dose medications, and aids in inventory management, thereby acting as a valuable assistant to the pharmacist and the pharmacy department. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. Implements and abides by customer service standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or equivalent required. Must be currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited Pharmacy program and have successfully completed the first professional year in a pharmacy program.

EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience as a pharmacy technician/intern preferred.

LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS:
Licensure as a pharmacist-intern with the MN Board of Pharmacy required. Temporary Full-time Day/Evening rotation
