Assists Pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications, such as: IV s, chemotherapy, and controlled substances. Performs order entry and maintains accurate computer profiles. Maintains drug inventory and pharmacy supplies. Keeps all required records and logs. Accurately utilizes the Pyxis system.

High School graduate or GED required. PTCB certification preferred. Must obtain PTCB certification within first year of employment. Hospital experience preferred.

Requires good interpersonal and oral communication skills, must be able to handle stressful situations and frequent interruptions. Capable of learning quickly and recalling accurately with attention to detail. Ability to assist in meeting the needs of varied patient age groups. Part-time Shifts Vary High School/GED
