We are currently searching for a Pharmacy Technician to
join our team. The pharmacy technician will be
responsible for performing a variety of routine
technical duties related to the purchasing, preparation,
and dispensing medication in accordance with the
applicable local, state, and federal laws. The ideal
candidate must be able to review medication orders,
checking for drug allergies, dosage, interactions, etc.
He/she must know basic medical and pharmaceutical
techniques, and pharmacy law and ethics. Requirements:
This position requires a valid State of Alaska Pharmacy
Technician License. A Pharmacy Technician Certificate is
highly preferred. Hospital pharmacy and Pyxis experience
is highly preferred. This candidate must possess basic
computer skills and must be able to work in a team
environment.
