Job Description
Company: Saint Marys Health Care
Facility: Cathedral Square at Grand Rapids
Department: Family Pharmacy LTC
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have one of the following: Previous pharmacy experience of one year; Completion of formal pharmacy technician training program; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CphT). Ability to consistently demonstrate the Organizational Core Competencies, Organizational Code of Ethics and adhere to the Compliance Program. Knowledge of and ability to consistently demonstrate age specific competencies as appropriate to the position. Ability to: apply mathematical skills (multiplication, division, addition, subtraction) in calculations involving fractions, decimals, percentages and volumes. Instruct other pharmacy personnel, patients and nursing personnel from other facilities in various procedures, medication questions and problems. Elicit cooperation and verify understanding from this same group also. Resource Varied Shifts 1 - 3 years of experience required
