Facility: Danbury Hospital at Danbury
Department: Lab/Phlebotomy
Required: High school diploma/GED. Experience in healthcare field and/or customer service. Performs phlebotomy and customer service functions, including proper patient identification, and venipuncture and arterial puncture procedures to obtain an appropriate specimen from a patient. Insures the integrity of the specimen; labels and transports the specimen appropriately to the Laboratory in a timely manner. Phlebotomy training or experience and computer knowledge. Hours: 40 control hours; 8-hr shifts between 5:30 am - 11 pm including weekends. Full-time Variable
