The Physical Therapist is responsible to administer a medically-prescribed home physical therapy program as approved by the patient s physician, to perform specific treatment procedures in accordance with the therapist s evaluation and program plan and supervises patient care of LPTA staff. Minimum of B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution providing training in the specialty. Institution must be approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA as well as the American Physical Therapy Association. Completes annual CPR certification. Must possess current and valid RPT license for North Carolina.
One year acute care experience preferred. Commensurate with PT licensure. Ability to complete Watauga Medical Center Home Healths Therapy orientation, computer skills.
